Why is this homepage called "the Ryanation"?

I give my homepage this name because I see this page as my own world, or "nation". I can do what I like in this virtual nation. Everything inside Ryanation is created by me. "Ryanation" means the nation of Ryan .^_^.

When did the Ryanation first be established?

The Ryanation was "The Homepage of Ryan Lee". It was very simple and ordinary, so I decided to give it a new name - The Ryanation in 1998.

Have me any expectations?

For the time being, the Ryanation is a personal homepage. However, I would like to make it into a multi-category page like my interests, my friends etc.

What programes did I use to create this homepage?

For HTML documents, I used Allaire Homesite. It is a software that help you organize the files. It is like using an "HTML Microsoft Word", with different colors for different tags and elements, attributes, so you can easily debug or go to a specific line.
For graphics, I used Photoshop 5.0. Audio files were all recorded by Real Producer or Real Juke Box.
The most essential thing is of course a browser!! How could I know the appearance of my homepage without viewing it? So I used both IE and Netscape to ensure the majority can view it.
